My main interests are programming and diverse topics related to IT (security, AI, ...). I've been striving to find out what makes a computer tick from the first time I laid hands on one (the 80386 of my father when I was 12), and I'm still fiddling with different computer systems every day.

I got into programming very early, starting out with Basic, but pretty soon, I got to know Pascal (which btw is a good language to start out with). Next came C, C++ and Java. I've also gotten myself acquainted to Visual Basic, Perl, and a few more. As well as several web languages like JavaScript, PHP, ASP, etc.

Apart from programming, I love mathematics. I'm convinced that a good basis in mathematics helps you a long way with programming.

I made my hobby a profession by studying for engineer in computer sciences, and I'm currently working in the Telecom sector as a software engineer.

Some of the free time I have, I spend on this site, which is a great tool to share ideas, keep myself informed and sharp, and hopefully help some people out along the way.
