I have a Physics Degree from the College of Charleston (
http://www.cofc.edu/~physics) and an Interactive Design certification.
I have been a computer user since 1987 when I got my first PS/2 & Tandy TRS-80.
I have been doing computer tech work & small network administration for the last 6 years or so (both self employed and with consulting firms and tech shops in charleston). I know every flavor of windows operating systems intimately, and run a personal network with most machine types accounted for on it.
I spend a lot of my time designing in Adobe Illustrator while on the computer (ultimately it is graphic design that pays the bills).
I am an incessant upgrader/tweaker, and usually keep abreast with the newest PC hardware (toys rule), as I consult people on the purchase of new systems fairly often.
