I worked at Microsoft SQL Server PSS for 6 months on the cluster/replication/DTS/Connectivity team in 2004.  Closed 150 cases, average customer satisfaction of 8.5 on a 9 point scale. Just so you know ;-)

Went back for another 10 months in PSS (2005/2006), closed 200 more cases and learned a lot more :-)

I am now working for a "Highly managed" hosting firm as a SQL DBA on the Escalation team.  There are 3 of us, and together we are responsible for almost 500 SQL Server 2000/2005 instances, with almost every SQL Server feature installed somewhere (no Notification Services thankfully)

Why is my typing so bad?

I'm an avid cyclist, and I think some of the long endurance racing I've done has jacked up the nerves in my hands.  One finger on each hand does its own thing on the keyboard.  Just because I can't type anymore doesn't mean I'm an idiot :)
