Self taught on pretty much everything.   Wrote and sold my first commercial APP at 8 years old (a pension illustration system).

Got MCSD when they first came out in the UK but dont keep it upto date these days because the Microsoft Exams are fully booked by "Book Readers".

I work/play as an independent consultant. designing and building VLDBs, and other interesting stuff in SQL Server.

Hobbies include Scuba (PADI Master Scuba Diver),  Aikido (teaching & practicing),  Home Automation, and Woodcrafts.
