More bioOld age and senility are approaching fast, so EE is a nice way to get some of the stuff out of my head and "down on paper" for others to share! It's amazing how much new stuff you learn in here.
Software & OS
Started out on Apple Basic at age 12, and moved to 6502 assembly language shortly after (need for speed starts early!). In work I grew up in the land of CPM and DOS working with the early versions of spreadsheets and word processors. 80x6 assembly language soon became a passion, before finally taking the plunge into Windows and Microsoft Office and event driven code. Now I live in another land called UNIX, playing with Oracle, HTML, PERL/CGI, XML and other interesting stuff.
Hardware
PC support for 10 years before adopting network design and engineering as a nice comfortable home. Ended up being a relocation engineer, assisting with the relocation of corporate networks like the Australian Stock Exchange and Citigroup in Sydney.
