I worked as a coder, troubleshooter, and debugger in both software and hardware support for IBM's mainframe computers until my retirement in 1999.
Since then I've been working with endusers and small businesses, troubleshooting problems, setting up systems, and tutoring individuals in
using Windows based systems. I have a wide range of knowledge in software, hardware, and Windows applications. I've also written articles on
how to best use (actually how to survive using) Microsoft Windows and PC's in general. I personally feel that it (Windows) is still a hideous bug-ridden
mess of software. Experts Exchange has been a tremendous resource for me. I greatly appreciate the knowledge and abilities of its members.
