I learned basic on a TRS80 in 1982, only to learn that Basic was not as powerfull as Pascal
I never learned Pascal or fortran or C or assembler( whatever that is)
intead I stuchk to Basic
then Studied DOS systems at Herzing Institute in Montreal from 1995 to 1996, in the Technical section.
Dos Became My language of choice.
Batch file city.
I virtually created my own OS entirely with Batch files
I am presently using VB4 (16bit) for One year after using VB3 for two years.
And I am still learning Code.
I have presently twenty one smooth running apps that help perform tedious and difficult tasks for newbies.
I use a lot of graphic enhancements to tell the user exactly what is going on as it is happening with clear descriptive options.
I don't like programs that hide from you what they are doing to your system.
I Do not claim to be an expert, there are many things that I have yet to learn. But I do enjoy Visual Basic and Wish I new how to perform some of the C+ possibilities with VB.
I think it is possible even if it means Tons more code and many times more complicated to write.
