I've graduated University of Mining and Metallurgy in Cracow
I am a software engineer (I was Microsoft Certified Professional - Windows95, Windows NT, Networking Essentials, TCP/IP), but mainly software developer.
My favourite domain is COM technology (ActiveX, ATL, OLE and other stuff like that). For example I know what "apartment" is and what "agile object" stands for, I know when standard marshalling is used and when custom, and couple other things. I also use MFC, STL, Direct3D, DirectShow (I think I known it quite well now), and I am familiar with many diffefent APIs on Windows platform (no Unix). During last years I cooperated closely with some german company developing camera hardware. I have effectively spent 2 years in Germany developing software for their hardware (now I have also some experience in firmware [USB] and driver development, and mentioned earlier DirectShow). We have designed and developed camera system for positioning tools with active/passive markers in 3D space (almost like in Matrix :) ). I have also implemented driver for my old TV tuner card (unterfortunately without scatter/gather support :( ) for unsupported earlier platforms W2K/XP. It is me in short.
