I study applied economics and econometrics with the MBA types at a university in the Midwest.  Much of my work involves statistical analysis and some simple programming.  

One of my hobbies is testing as many linux distros as I can, and I consult for individuals and hotels regarding efficient computer configurations.  Unfortunately, most of this work involves Windows 2k and XP, but I have made some progress in migrating people to Linux systems.

Unfortunately, I only occasionally have a few days where I have any time to post comments on EE.  Probably a good thing, though, because it IS addicting.
