Former positions in the world of pharma R&D as "Head of IT & Data Magement Division" and "CTO" (note the quotation marks, - I really had to work for the money ;-)

Build my first processor-based piece of hw in 1978 (Z80, - a timer), it took me almost a year to do the PCB lay-outs, the soldering and the programming, and what did I get? What you can buy for less than 10 US$ at any hardware store today, -  please keep the violins low and moody;-/

I am currently focusing on Risk Management as an independent consultant, as I belive this is an underdeveloped area of corporations perception of IS, but to keep my options open, I maintain my skills by serving here in EE.

PS: Some have misunderstood the last bit: don't bother trying to lookup 'svenkarlsen', - I'm not in any directory anywhere (kind of a private-secluded-withdrawn kind of person) and, - although you may run into him when searching on my name, I an NOT Svend Karlsen, - the worlds strongest man, or whatever (note the diff in spelling)!

What I refer to by Google is: if your needs match my offered services, then my site will be among your hits on a Google search, - that's all.
