More bioI'm a web programmer currently located in Charlottesville, Virginia (USA). I have a wonderful full-time job right now, and I primarily program using ASP.NET / SQL Server, which I've been doing since December 2003. I have a BS degree in Computer Science as well. I've been married since 2001 to my wonderful wife, I currently have four children, boy/girl twins born in 10/2004, a little girl born in 11/2008, and a sweet boy born in 6/2010. I am a genius by no means, all I have I owe to Jesus Christ. Are you a good person too? http://www.livingwaters.com/good/AreYouGood.html I'm available for any questions you might have about that.
I enjoy helping people on EE that want to understand why the solution works, not just get the code and run. Be forewarned that my strategy for helping people is more of a "kick you in the right direction" than a "Hold your hand every step of the way". I do hold a full-time job right now, and as much as I'd love to, I don't get paid anything for my assistance here, but I DO get paid to perform well at my job! If I see that you are unwilling to put forth any effort into the answer yourself, you may start to notice me ignoring your pleas for help.
Don't be a "Dorkus McDweeb" , take the time to understand your code!. A quote from Peter A. Bromberg, Ph.D.
"There are two kinds of programmers in the world - those that boot up with the NumLock key on, and those that do not. I am forever in the second camp. The analogy really means, there are programmers who go through their careers finding snippets of other people's code they can cut and paste to solve their problems, and those who do the same (as I do), but who -- in addition -- also feel compelled to UNDERSTAND what that code is doing and how it really works. It is when we take ownership of the concept, analyze and fully understand it, that we can grow. It is that analytical, studious, lateral-thinking demeanor which is the hallmark difference between a drone, and a real programmer who has learned to think independently, which is what we programmers are really paid to do, IMHO." - http://www.eggheadcafe.com/articles/20040613.asp
