Full Biography

First the earth was a ball of ooze and molten lava, then the dinosaurs came, then the Cd& came, and it was good.  Then a period of darkness came as the great lizards that once roamed fell prey to the fierce badgers that were overzealous with the powers they had received from their creator...

As a young boy in the early 80s, I was given a ColecoVision ADAM (still have it... still works) that started me on path to Mountain Dew and CRT induced bliss.  Much joy was had in my school years programming the computers (If one dares to call an Apple ][e a computer anymore) to do stupid tricks that would annoy the teachers (random high frequency oscillations at the upper range of human hearing was one of my favorites).

While in high school, I did some stuff that would annoy much more than teachers... no viruses but lets just say the only secure network is the one that is unplugged... until a colleague of mine got busted and served some time.  Awesome guy never ratted me out either.

In the middle of my highschool career this whole HTML thing became a blip on the radar and I became interested... then in 1994 I started building my own sites with ooooh ahhhh animated gifs!  I kept on with it and in 1996 went that direction with my then fledgling career.  After designing an internally used web-based DMS (the core of which spawned 5 more systems still in use) from the ground up as an employee of a manufacturing company in 1998, I decided I could build stuff like that for some real money!

I started as a sole proprietor on the side and once I built up enough of a client base, I formed Praxis back in 2000.  Since then I have worked with and taught classes for a number of organizations including: US Army Corps of Engineers, United Space Aliance, NASA, Raytheon, SAP, BASF, Lennox, TTX, Hands on Technology Transfer, Global Knowledge.

My skills are all over the map - I have programmed in 20+ languages, architected databases in 7 different platforms, did a stint as a hardware guy and had my hands on over 15,000 laptops and desktops during the Win3.11-->Win95 migration days.
