I've been developing in Visual Basic for 9+ years, and have been developing with Microsoft Access since Access 95. Recently started the exciting move over to the .NET languages. In total, over 9 years in the programming field with a solid background in User Interface (UI) design/build, database design/build, software architecture, security, and much more. Have worked with almost all server-type databases, including Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL and Oracle.

I've developed several projects from the ground up, including work for the Naval Research Labs (NRL), Goddard Spaceflight Center (GFSC), and Swales Aerospace in conjunction with several spaceflight projects including the LRO, GLAST, SECCHI, and THEMIS projects currently underway at our nation's spaceflight centers. I've also developed business-class applications for small-to-large businesses in various industries, and have assisted or consulted on hundred of other projects. Some features that I consider relevant are: built-in Email capabilities (without using Outlook and the associated limitations), full reporting capabilities with end-user configurability (including dynamic crosstabs), printing native Access reports to PDF, and many, many more items. I have developed complete business use applications for various companies, including Dispatching, Inventory Control, Customer Relationship Management, Sales, AR/AP, and Invoicing.

My latest area of interest has been in Project Management, with special emphasis on Research and Development departments. I also am very involved in contracting and trades industries (HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Auto Repair, etc) and Financial areas.

Terminal Services - Setup and administration for Access databases. I admin several large TS boxes that handle multiple users, all done from remote locations, and develop most of my applications to be "TS-Friendly"

User Level Security - Implementation and troubleshooting of the much-maligned Access User Level Security. No, I won't recover your Passwords or Users for you.

Crystal Reports - Design and build of CR reports for VB apps.
