I'm just your typical everyday self-taught computer geek. I started tinkering with computers in the late 90's and within a few years I got a job as a computer Technician, and then a System Administrator. I currenty am the IT Coordinator for my local municipal government.
I consider myself a network specialist and have my CCNA certification. I have years of experience fixing and diagnosing computer hardware and software problems, from doing it for friends to working in a local Computer store to being a one man IT department for a group of Automobile Dealerships. On a day to day basis at my current job I manage 2003 and 2008 servers on a domain with about 130 XP workstations as well as managing the network that combines wired as well as short and long range wireless and VPN connections.
I'm not much of a programmer but have put together some decent websites in my day. I have always enjoyed builidng and upgrading computers and making them communicate, so that is where my expertise lies.
