Personal Description
I've been in computers for 9 years now. I'm only 17 but wait, don't discount my knowledge because of my age.
During this time I've experienced everything from DOS 4.0 to Win95/98/NT, Linux, Solaris, IRIX, and other OS's.
My web experience has been expanding for the last 5 years, beginning with simple BBS operations and what
not. I now author webpages and code CGI apps for a living, as well as doing graphics work for the web/print
(Photoshop 3.0-5.0, various Corel apps, Freehand, Illustrator, other things). I am running a Linux box as my
webserver (Red Hat 5.1 - Apache 1.3.4) and a I manage 5 other major corporate websites as my primary job
function. Other lines of experience include various hardware work (building, maintaining, upgrading) in computers
and networking. I also have a small consulting business on the side, for working with small companies (locally)
with computer setup/installation and networking inssues.
Overall I guess I'm pretty technologically inclined. =)
Planning to major in C.S. in college...hopefully at the cool Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, NY.
