I am a network administrator/engineer who has been in the field for over ten years. I spent the first six years of my career working for the Air Force Reserve as a communications security specialist for Internet security as well as working concurrently on various contracts and consulting jobs installing networks all over Pennsylvania. I was a network consultant for Columbia pictures during the filming of "Girl, Interrupted" here in the midstate, spent fourteen months designing and installing a Wide Area frame relay network for the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, and a number of large and small contracts. I've spent the last four years working for a three campus private college in Pennsylvania. The first three years of that, I spent as an instructor teaching Windows 2000/2003 Server, Exchange, SQL Server, and most of the networking classes at one time or another. I recently took over as the Director of Information Technology for that same institution, and am currently responsible for insuring the smooth operation of all three campuses. I am a jack of all trades, and am a master of a few (Windows 2000 Server, Windows XP, networking, etc). I don't presume to know it all, or I wouldn't be taking advantage of being a member here at EE. I am always willing to help if I can (it's the teacher in me).
