I have worked in the IT industry for the best part of 14 years, 8 years of which was spent as IT Systems Manager for a large education establishment spanning over 9 sites in 3 towns with 25,000+ users and almost 3000 workstations mixed with Windows and Mac desktops.

I have migrated Exchange all through the versions from 5 to 2007 and Windows from NT3.51 through to Windows 2008.  I enjoy solving problems and finding new solutions.

Over the years I have gained certifications in Novell, Microsoft, Citrix, 3Com which I have kept upto date throughout and more recently VMWare & Lefthand SAN/IQ and am looking forward to exploring these latest ones a lot further with the recent installation of a Lefthand iSCSI Virtualisation SAN with VMWare ESXi.

My primary use of EE is to put something back into IT (I hope) and to continue to learn.  I have not stopped learning in the 14 years I have been working in IT and never proclaim to know everything about everything but I will find out if I don't know.
