Jay's focus is on Microsoft Technologies, specifically Microsoft SQL Server.  Jay has been working with SQL Server since version 4.21 in 1993 and has been widely acclaimed as a go-to guy for Very Large DataBases (VLDBs) ranging into multi-terabyte OLTP installations and petabyte OLAP installations.
