I have been a web developer for the past 13 years and have started to hone my skills in PHP, ASP, MySQL and other web based technologies.  I work in a design agency as a senior developer and really enjoy the challenges that I am presented with on a daily basis.

My greatest area of interest focuses on Content Management Systems in various languages, including JSP (Web Sphere Portal Server, developing content for, but not actually programming the interface), PHP systems that have been pre-developed by communities (PostNuke, PHP-Nuke, MD-Pro, Mambo) and systems that I develop on a bespoke basis in either PHP or ASP.  

I am a very firm believer in the philosophy that if the wheel has already been invented, why reinvent it.  However, there are times when a pre-built, open source system just doesn't fit a clients requirements, then it's down to the drawing board.  As I have developed a number of sites using OpenSource projects, along with bespoke systems, I always welcome questions related to my interest area.
