- Grew up with various TRS-80 computers, primarily the Color Computer
- Other computers: TI 99/4A, Timex Sinclair, Apple IIe, Franklin Ace 1200 (Better than Apple clone)
- Routinely using PC compatibles since at least 1988

- Primary system administrator for a "mostly Microsoft" system integration company of over 150 employees
- Former helpdesk consultant during college
- Fixing/installing/consulti
ng for home users and small businesses on the side since mid 90s.
OS experience:
- Dos 3.2 and up
- Windows 3.1, 95, 98, NT, 2000, XP, and starting to get in to Windows 2003
- Administration of NT, 200x domains, including Active Directory
- Dabbling off and on with Red Hat Linux since 1998
- DISK EXTENDED COLOR BASIC (if you don't know, don't ask)
- VAX user for a few years, and I probably still remember more than I want to
- Older Macintosh (Finder 6 through 7.5, maybe 8.0)
- Installed OS/2 on a very underpowered system once (hard drive light stayed on)
Applications experience:
- Exchange 5.5, 2000, and starting to get in to 2003
- Programming with Microsoft Office 6.0 and up
- Veritas Backup Exec 7.0 and up

Programming:
- Self-taught BASIC and Pascal
- Professional experience with VB and VBA
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, ASP, and other web page code
- Familiarity with C, Java, C++, .NET framework
- Used to know COBOL and FORTRAN
