I originally started as a software/hardware seller/engineer for a large copier/fax/printer/documen
t storage company. I was the guy who would go in and meet with the IT departments and get our equipment to work on their network.
Five years ago I was hired by my biggest customer. I now am the lone IT person at a medium sized petroleum company with 8 offices and about 150 users. At the time I was hired I inherited a small citrix environment of about 30-40 users that has since tripled. I learned citrix on the job and EE and other tech sites helped me through some initial tough predicaments. Five years later and like most one person IT departments, I know a little about a lot of different things (master of none) but the one area I deal with every day is citrix and terminal server so I started answering questions on those topics in January 2008.
