I work usually as an instructor, lecturer or customer service.
Im not so much an expert as a translator for experts. Jargon to English and occasionally even English to Jargon (sometimes programmers lose the ability to understand a request worded in street English). On here I dont answer alot of questions but you will see me post early in the question thread explaining things, asking questions, trying to clarify what the asker wants. Then the experts here are more able to give specific answers where the initial post might have been passed over.

I am mostly retired now (USAF). I telecommute doing email, customer service support, forum management, tech consulting, and some sysadmin projects. Mostly for a few ISPs, and one game publishing company.
Oh, and gandalf isnt my handle. Its my middle name. It used to be real unique until I got on the net.
