Hi, I have been working in the field of telecom and wireless protocols for over 10 years. Back in the day I used to write software features for Nortel's DMS-MTX (GSM) switch, BTS and BSC radio access (CDMA), Companion (CT2+) and other Nortel wireless product lines. I have implemented all kinds of protocol stacks including lower-layer GPRS, MAP, most of SS7, IP/UDP, and many others. Although I am currently a SW developer (C, unix, embedded) I have had CM (Perforce, CVS, SourceSafe) and QA-Automation (AutoTester, XRunner) experiences as well. If you have questions about protocol usage, design or development, encoders/decoders, state machines, or any wireless core network stuff I would love to hear from you. I live and consult in the San Francisco Bay Area. Best Regards
