Hi All,

I currently work as a system administrator/engineer.  I really enjoy helping and more importantly I enjoy learning.  I am an MCSE (NT/2000/2003) MCSA (2000/2003), MCITP: Server & Enterprise Administrator, CISSP.  Not really sure what all those mean other than I've taken a bunch of tests.  Maybe they can help my resume get noticed when recruiters do keyword searches.   I originally started with the NT tests when I was new to the field because the company I worked for gave us cash for every test we passed and that was enough incentive for me.

I don't know everything and no one does but as a collective group we do a good job on these boards.   There are a few legends that have really helped me learn over the years.

Joe Richards
Mark Russinovich
Darren Mar-Elia
Jorge Almeida
Mark Minasi
Brian Desmond
Brian Puhl

Everyone that posts on the activedir list -- man some of those people are scary smart. All the guys at http://blogs.technet.com/askds/ and the rest of the Microsoft DS team.

Everyone that writes for Windows IT Pro and TechNet Magazine.

All the Micrsoft MVPs... they really put a lot of time into this and truly deserve the accolades

All the great blogs and bloggers out there helping the community; blogs are really a great way to learn and I appreciate them

Metallica and all the bands from the grundge era, yes I'm an aging Gen Xer (35 this year) and after a long day or a hard day I like to crank the music loud on the way home... it really helps!!  One of my regrets in life is not seeing Nirvana live before Kurt Cobain died.

I like to only answer on the boards and get the community involved but I can be reached at mkline at gmail dot com.
