Full Biography

Hi everybody,

I've been programming for most of my life - starting with the first pocket-calculator that allowed to be programmed using a basic dialect - a Sharp PC-1245 with unbelievable 2.2 KB (sic!) RAM (here's a pic: http://www.thimet.de/CalcCollection/Calculators/Sharp-PC-1245/Contents.htm). I must've been 13 years old back then (from that thingy's production date), but I don't really remember.
With the C64 I started programming Basic soon after and, later on, Assembler, which I continued using Amigas as well.
With PCs coming up, I tried various basic-dialects and moved on to using C (and a little C++) with Borland- and Watcom-compilers whilst programming for DOS and OS/2 only. In 1996 I entered the Windows world and started with Office in general, focussing on programming Access, soon adding VB6 and SQL-Server.
With the .Net Beta 1 being released, I started playing around with that too, but I've been productive with VB.Net only since mid-2004. While I also do C#, I prefer VB.Net.

For my contributions to the communities, MS recognized me as a "Microsoft Most Valuable Professional" (MVP) between 2002 and 2005.

Here's my company's websites: http://www.intuidev.com (english) and http://www.intuidev.de (german)
And if you're looking for some demos and sample code about Access and VBA, check out my resources-website: http://www.resources.intuidev.com
