Hello,

Thank you for taking the time to read more about me.  

My name is Mark Bishop and I'm an author, consultant and Internet marketing person.  

Like many of us here, I've been involved with the Internet for many years now.  

I jumped right into the online world back in the early 1990s by running multiple large BBS systems (my only competitor back then was Earthlink) and managing a software company along with providing consulting to universities and corporations.  Creating websites and doing SEO and SEM work fell into my lap and to this day I enjoy the work.

I authored the book HOW TO BUILD A SUCCESSFUL INTERNATIONAL WEB SITE (soon to be revised) and co-authored WEB PROGRAMMING UNLEASHED including many articles too.  In addition, I've been a technical editor to other publications and software documentation.  

In my free time I volunteer to help non-profit organizations around the world with their internet needs.  I also run a domain name site called Adventist Domains <http://www.adventistdomains.com> offering low-cost domain names and other services.

I enjoy contributing here at Experts-Exchange.  Not only am I sharing, but also I'm learning so much from other experts here.  It really is a cool place to bring your technical woes and to find the best answers anywhere.
