Technical Experience:
Windows 2000 Professional; Windows NT 4.0 Workstation; Windows 98; Windows 95; MacOS 9.x; MacOS X; Palm OS and Palm Desktop; Windows XP Home, Windows XP Professional, Windows 2000 Server;
Installation and configuration of Windows NT on laptop and desktop PCs; familiar with many additional DOS, Windows 3x, Windows 9x, and Windows NT/2000/XP communication, desktop, utility, and networking applications. 2+ years troubleshooting, installing, and configuring PC Client and PC Server hardware, networking hardware (10BaseT/100BaseTx network cards and hubs, 10Base2 network cards). Substantial experience with installing, configuring, and troubleshooting desktop application software and network client software.
Milestones - started participating, 12/2004
Top 2000 - January 2005.
Top 1000 - March 2005.
Top 500 - August 2005.
First "master level" Expert certifications - January, 2006.
I signed up with experts exchange way back in 2000, but was spending most of my time on askme.com (R.I.P.), and quite frankly, forgot I had signed up here. Then a friend from that site mentioned this to me, and upon trying to sign up in late 2004, found I had already signed up. I guess I won't make rookie of the year, but at least I can help who I can, when I can.
Aside from Experts Exchange, I also try to help out on Yahoo! Answers, and do some product reviews on Epinions.com.
