I am a former litigation paralegal (member, Paralegal Division, State Bar of Texas) who entered the IT field in 1997. My specialties are C, Pro*C, PL/SQL, perl, korn shell scripting and regular expressions.

I have worked on several different flavors of Unix, including AIX, Solaris, and Linux. I recently built a new Unix server at home which is running FreeBSD.

I enjoy playing guitar (I have a custom Telecaster and a 1967 Gibson LG-0 acoustic, among others shared with my husband), chess, cooking, volunteering in Big Brothers/Big Sisters as a Big Sister, needlepoint and read like a house on fire. Latest favorite is Watership Down.
