I'm a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps. I've been in the Corps for just over 3 years as a Data Network Specialist. Prior to joining, I spent time working a help desk and network consulting. I've been actively doing hardware/software trouble shooting since Elementary school, so I'm pretty spun up on some of the older hardware.
I dont spend my spare time fixing computers anymore. So I'm a little behind the curve on the latest and greatest processors and such.
I'm currently the Data Chief for my battalion and been so for over a year. I manage two rather small networks each with two DC's and an exchange server. I know quite a bit about satellite transmission and numerous other transmission methods.
I'm on deployment in Afghanistan right now.
