I'm a computer "tinkerer'. It's not my profession.  I can build a PC from parts and am pretty good with tweaking system settings but only to a point. I do not write code or understand hexadecimal numbering and I pretty much stay out of the Registry unless I'm applying a well-documented tweak or fix.
