I'm a Systems Administrator for a financial institution in the Kansas City, MO area. My history consists of formerly being an aerospace medicine specialist in the military (Air Force) for 8yrs, finished college in '01 (MIS with honors), and performed tech support at a hospital for 4 1/2 years prior to my current position. I'm now responsible for all aspects of AD, Group Policy, Exchange, Patch Mgmt, Anti-virus, Web Content, SPAM filtering (both Barracuda appliances), server virtualization (MS VS R2 and some VMWare), DNS, DHCP, and a host of other things. :)
I enjoy sharing the knowledge I've gained from my experiences, occupationally and via research. I'm still relatively new in Technology (in my opinion...only in it since '99), but find it very intriguing. I'm quite passionate about my career choice. Technology to me is like Calculus; finding the answer isn't my only goal, but the "why" and the process by which the answer is achieved is what I'm probably most passionate about. I guess I'm all about the old cliche that "knowledge is power". :)
UPDATE, 1 OCT 08: I will be away from EE for several days on vacation. I will continue to assist in unresolved posts upon my return.
