Provide engineering-level technical and project management services to small and mid-size business clients throughout Central Texas. Clients vary in size and technical needs from five (5) to five-hundred (500) users.  Assist supervisors in the development of company infrastructureincluding policy, procedure and training.  Rotate with other network engineers to provide emergency on-call services to clients, including two (2) hospitals.  Perform interviews of prospective employees.  Proficient in Windows domain environments under Windows 2000 Server, Windows 2003 Server, Cisco PIX firewalls and other medium range network devices.  Capable of designing active directory and Exchange solutions.  Develop websites and automation and HTA scripts in PHP, HTML/CSS, Javascript and VBScript.  Broad experience with line-of-business applications, including Optos, Officemate, AutoCAD, ADP W.E.B. Suite, Reflections, RMS, ProQuest, etc.

Provide 24/7 in-store, on-site and remote-access support for a small business clientele with less than 500 computers per site.  Support a mix of Windows, Linux and Macintosh systems.  Troubleshoot, install and maintain customer applications used in their daily operations.  Make recommendations to increase productivity, reduce IT costs and ensure network security.  Manufacture, install and train client staff on the use of new equipment.  Monitor data backup processes and prepare disaster recovery plans.  Deliver outsourced technical services and on-site leadership for larger organizations in the form of small, usually 3 to 6 man teams assigned to specific projects.  During 2006, projects included the migration of over 8,000 PCs, the repair of over 3,000 Dell motherboards and the installation or repair of 30 HP multifunction printers. Develop scripts in PHP, VBscript, DOS batch and other languages to automate domain migration processes.  Write and execute test plans for pre-deployment work.

Perform hardware and software testing on HP Proliant servers and software. Coordinate Minimal Assurance Testing (MAT) project as MAT Test Lead. Document issues discovered in the course of testing using internal database. Inspect the quality of issues submitted to the internal database before transferring each issue to the HP issue database. Assist supervisors in entering test configurations and test results into HP tracking database. Setup systems under test, inspect their configuration, isolate issues and help other technicians. Demonstrate proficiency with Windows 2000, Windows 2003 Server, Red Hat Linux, SuSe Linux.
