I am a product of "learning out of necessity" that turned into a complete passion for all things IT related.  I don't have any significant formal education, so everything I know is a result of my experiences and professional on-line training.  My history has been in the aluminum screen enclosure industry here in Florida.  I'm a designer of these structures by trade, but I also function as the CAD manager for my company as well as the technical officer.  We have gone through a couple of IT managment firms, but have not been completely satisfied with the results so I have taken over the IT managment duties.  The company I work for is small (roughly 20 employees) so the challenges I face can vary.  I am starting to develop some software solutions for our company focusing on the C# language.  I am very knowledgable with Autodesk Inventor and moderately knowledgeable with AutoCAD.
