I have been around computers for as long as I can remember.
Did the whole Logo-Basic-Pascal thing as a kid, growing up a little in high-school with some C - majored in systems programming (keyboard buffers, video memory and TSRs - oh my!).

I landed my first job working for my local department of defense, picking up some skills in ADA, Unix (AIX on IBM RS6000s) and some C++, SQL and a little MFC. After that I spent three years reducing my belief in the stigma Visual Basic has as a programming language.  I even had the chance to look at .NET during its first and second beta versions.

I graduated from Rutgers University, on the banks of the beautiful (yet very dirty) Raritan in May 2006. CS, of course. I had the opportunity to serve as President of the Rutgers Student Linux Users Group (http://ruslug.rutgers.edu), Google's Pizza Ambassador at Rutgers. and house technician for my various off-campus houses: 5-6 users, two routers, a switch and a heck of a lot of cables running all over the darn place.

During my senior year I took an internship at RIVA Networks (http://riva-networks.com), learning how to hack on Palms and Windows Mobile devices.  The internship turned into a full-time position and I got to learn a lot about a bunch of other interesting stuff.

I'm currently happily employed by the MITRE Corporation (www.mitre.org), and expect to be here for a long while.

My resume (which is usually outdated during periods of employment) is posted on my website.
