Personal Description
I am a home user of Delphi and since being introduced to it back when I have Delphi 5 in 2000, I stopped spending months on writing code in spreadsheets. I mainly use Delphi to write simple programs for myself and to learn more about programming. I am a builder by trade but also a pilot. The last two years I have been full time PHP developing. Php/Mysql as a combination sparked my interest after having a work accident and becoming unable to work. While I was off work after a major back operation, I spent as much time as I could learning php and mysql along with a few other tidbits of coding like javascript then into ajax.
I have now developed several large database driven websites and have developed my own CMS which several companies are using. Something that you won't find a tutorial on is the "LOGIC" behind any programming language. I believe that can only come with experience and time. I also believe I have a good grasp of the logic required when I am developing a website and having the "logic" is half the battle.
Coding is easy and falls into place as if by magic ONCE you have the logic worked out. The "WHY - WHEN - HOW - WHO" questions are part of that logic so my advise to budding programmers is, ask yourself those 4 questions about each project you do, and when you have worked out the answers, you will have the logic behind the website.
I have also been a volunteer cleanup moderator.
