Rules Of Programming
===============
1. Develop a plan (high level modelling would help lots)
2. Write your code with this plan in mind.
3. Remember to use interfaces, inheritance and encapsulation early on.
4. When in doubt, start all over again at #1 <GRIN>
Tips For A Pleasant Exchange Of Knowledge
==========================
==
1. If a solution is offered by anyone and works, please be nice and say so.
2. Keep your focus on the original question. A clear thread will enrich everyone.
3. Do not ask open-ended questions like "I need a web application to do yadda yadda. Can you post the ENTIRE code". We are not here to do your work. We are here to collaborate with you.
4. Be aware that active experts here invariably have their black list, (read: yes i have mine). So be fair in grades and be wholesome when asking.
5. Enjoy learning!
Questions I Avoid
===========
1. Ones that again ask you to write everything.
2. Ones that provide bare-bones information and expects you to magically understand the asker's mind set . My fortune-telling days have ended, I tell ye all!
3. Ones that asks us to shoot a moving target. In short, the question keeps on getting changed or re-clarified ad nauseam. There's a limit to anyone's patience!
Word Of Advice To Askers
================
1. If your original question has been answered, do not ask another question within the same thread unless it is just clarification.
2. There's nothing to prevent you from posting a new question.
3. Be grateful for whatever help you get, we experts are volunteers and not paid.
Peace and Hippiness =)
