Personal Description
I'm a geeky mechanic. I fix cars for a living. I've been a ASE Master tech for over twenty-five years and I like to think that when people can't get their car fixed right anywhere else, I can make them happy.
I like to play with computers for a hobby. Built the last several systems I have and I also dabble in writing my own software. Started out learning old fashion BASIC and went on to learn C and Fortran. I graduated to Visual Basic and enjoy writing little apps for myself.
I still like DOS and I still like Bill Gates. I think we owe him a lot. I like to buy all my software and don't want anything to do with downloading or cracking anything.
One day, I hope to have my entire house computerized and control everything from my wristwatch, kind of a Dick Tracy fantasy. ;-)
