I specialise in the arcane and off-beat. The nearest to mainstream I ever got was COBOL, and that now appear to be as useful as a clockwork orange.

As an independent contractor with 30+ years in IT, I design databases and systems and specialise in barcodes and barcoding technology. I speak COBOL, Progress, Mantis, SUPRA, DOS, Delphi and assembler - and I have a nodding acquaintance with a few others. Sure, I prefer assembler - but there's no money in it!

Naturally, I'm available for hire...
