Currently working as a DBA at a company in NH.. High Available environment using clusters, SQL 2000 & 2005, 64bit and 32bit installations. Fast growing databases with a lot of fun stuff. Also will be supporting Oracle (various versions) in this role.

Background is as SQL DBA/Developer. Primary expertise in all aspects of Administration, Data Imports/Exports, DTS, SSIS, SQL Performance Tuning/Optimization, etc. etc.

Somehow I have managed to steer wholly clear of a lot of front end coding in my career, and my focus has been on SQL T-SQL and some "mild" coding/scripting as it relates to DTS or making quick (and ugly, I'm not a gui guy) administration tools.

Always available for part time remote consulting (Administration, Best Practices Audit, Code Review, Performance Review, etc. etc.).. Most useful service I can offer is remote administration/system auditing. A lot of companies still seem to think they can just let their SQL Server installations man themselves.
