I've been working in the IT industry for over a decade, with most of that time coming as a field consultant. I've seen a lot of problems, and thankfully fixed most of them. I enjoy the challenge of understanding a problem, then working through it to provide a solution.

I have worked with Windows, Netware, and Linux for almost my entire duration in this field, and understand the underpinnings of all of them reasonably well. I also have spent a significant amount of time in networking, so I feel comfortable with any layer of the process.

I don't write code (well, ok, I actually do - but it's mostly scripting components that I write to make my job easier). Other than that, I'm comfortable getting my hands dirty with just about anything technical.  And, I'm still learning about everything - every day I try to add a skill to my basket of tricks.
