Personal Description
First let me say, excuse me for tooting my own horn. That said here’s my technical background. I've worked with and on computers most of my life. I have a physical disability. While all the kids were playing sports, I was learning about computers (starting at age eight). My first computer was an Apple IIE. Nowadays, I can put together any pc-compatible computer in under two hours from scratch (this does not include the monitor). I also put together custom web servers with RAID. Software wise, I am an expert installer for Windows 2000 advanced server, Windows 98, Windows NT 4.0, Linux-Flavors, Redhat, SuSE professional. Programming wise, I am an expert in Ms Visual Basic 6.0, MySQL, SQL, HTML, and some CGI.
I am currently starting a web site called http://www.helpyourselfher
a search engine geared toward people with health questions, concerns, and disabilities. For the aforementioned site, I made a custom Visual Basic 6.0 search bot or spider (a work still in progress), called E-Bot™, which crawls the web for health information.
