Programming Background

I got into programming by accident.  I took one programming class in high school, but it really didn't interest me.  Then, when filling out my college application I just checked 'Computer Science' as a major since we had to declare our freshman year.  It just so happened that programming came naturally to me and I ended up loving it.  I don't profess to be an expert in any area, but I enjoying trying to adapt the the challenges of learning new stuff.
