I am currently a Business Analyst for NEXT Plc based in their Information Warehouse at their corporate HQ in the UK. My role is to assist the the business in gaining access to the most relevant information. Being the 'face' of the Information Warehouse to the rest of the business involves understanding the requirements of the business and matching this with the capabilities of our data warehouse information.

In my previous role, I was the Business Development Analyst for TNT Special Services. In this commercial role I was responsible for providing global reporting, and a variety of business infomation applications for development of business finance, processes and reporting. Much of this was provided by interfacing MS Excel, MS Access and Reporting Services with SQL Server, and deploying these solutions within the Intranet / internal network environment.

In my own time (on the side...), I develop different business information applications using Access/SQL Server (as rqd), and am currently studying MCDBA.
