With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? Visual FoxPro, Cold Fusion, and ODBC

NT4 servers with SP5 loaded.

We have a quoting application written in VFP, and it has a web component which is written in Cold Fusion. It works like a charm, even across servers.

We have several other applications which use the VFP tables as a source for data, written in Access2000, and in SQL. Therein lies the problem.

On the machine with the quoting application, there exists a DSN for the data; the machine with the Cold Fusion web app can see that data and retrieve all of the information correctly.

However, none of our other servers can "see" the DSN for the quoting database. When we create a new DSN using the Foxpro drivers (duplicating the configuration of the one on the quoting server), we can see most of the tables, but NOT the one table we really need -- the one with the actual quotations.

I've asked the quoting software vendor what they've done in their recent upgrades to make it so that what was once visible is no longer visible, and the best anyone's been able to tell me is that they've changed the structure of some of the tables. That sounds pretty nonsensical, if only because I can see most of the tables, but not the one I need.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?
