The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. Unwanted open dialog in SELECT - SQL

I want to write a server program in FoxPro7 that can handle queries like this one: "SELECT * FROM alfa", or
more complex ones base on more than one table. The resulted cursor is then converted to XML and sent back
to client program that made the request to this server progy. Also if there is an error it is sent back to the client like in this case: "SELECT * fORm alfa" -> "Syntax error". I handle it via ON ERROR.
My problem is when issuing invalid queries like this one:"SELECT * FROM inexsitent". The table/view does not exist and before fireing the "Table not found" error, it
pops up a nice Open table dialog-box. But there is no man at the console, and the whole server stops responding to any folowing queries.
So the question: Can I get rid of this open dialog PROGRAMMATICALLY?
I tried SET TALK OFF,SET CONSOLE OFF,SET NOTIFY OFF but without any success. Also using KEYB "{ESC}" just before running the query didn't help.
Obs.:The program is built as a normal standalone EXE. For TCP connection serving i used "MSWinsock.Winsock" OLE controls.

If anyone has any ideas that could lead me to a solution, I whould be happy to hear them.
