The control is read-only Text in Grid with no controlsource
Hi experts...
Vfp9.0...
I got a 7 columncount grid.
If i remove the column6 controlsource the control is read-only..i want to use the textbox like a "variable"..i "insert" a textbox on it and the same message appears,,how can i use a variable in a grid with no controlsource..

No solution for a problem is bat solution, but there is a difference between a real solution and a patch or work around to a solution. what you have found seems to be a patch rather than a solution. If you were to clarify your question I could try to understand the problem and help you out to find a solution.

AFAIK you can't. Grid columns are bound to workarea columns. My knowledge is limited to VFP8.
