My problem is similar to the issue in the link above.
I am able to run the foxpro program of version 2.6 in windows xp , the problem is that it doesn't run as long as it runs on Win NT server. We use Citrix to get into WinNT server and use foxpro.... i am trying to run this from Windows XP. I don't get the "Divide by Zero" error.
I can get in to the program just fine.. but when i go to transactions menu and click on edit, i get a PROGRAM ERROR popup window and it says "insufficient memory" and the three options i see are cancel, suspend and ignore
Please advise.

i tried tame dos... no avail :(
i kept an eye on task manager ... the process doesn't take that much CPU usage... but the process was listed under wowexec and was tabbed to the right ... wowexec is always tabbed to the right in task manager... .. this time foxprow.exe was aligned to wowexec.
i will try this the wikis.com link now ... thanks for giving hope :)
I didn't realize until now, too, that you are using FoxPro for Windows 2.6. Since you said you're weren't having the "Divide by Zero" problem, I though it was because you are using FoxPro for DOS which never had the "Divide by zero" error. FoxPro for Windows 2.6 is a 16-bit app and will call up wowexec.exe and ntvdm.exe to make it work under true 32-bit Windows XP. You probably see the dependence of wowexec.exe under ntvdm.exe, which is why it's indented, unlike the other processes that are shown under Task Manager.
Display settings? No.
I no longer use that old version that came out over 10 years ago. I decided it was time to upgrade many years ago and I only use Visual FoxPro 9 at this point. VFP9 lacks those compatibility issues because it is a 32-bit application running under a 32-bit operating system. It has nothing to do with display settings.
Yes, FoxPro 2.5 seems to run very well on Win98, mainly because Win98 isn't a true 32-bit OS (it' a pseudo-32-bit OS and not like NT systems) and it still supports DOS calls, etc.
The transition can be tough, depending on how nasty your older code is. The main thing is to learn new and better concepts of READ EVENTS rather than the old Foundation READ and to use OOP.

When all else fails, I'm told TameDOS handles this very well.
