In short, I go in to VFP 8 and try the SQLCONNECT() command (no parameters), choose an ODBC connection and it doesn't connect.
Technically, the code is in software, but I just tried it in the command window and got the same result. I tried the same thing in VFP7 and it worked fine. I tried the same thing in VFP9 and it worked fine. I tried it in a VFP8 exectuable and it worked fine. I recently moved all my stuff over to a new computer, so I tried it on VFP8 on my old computer...same problem. This is something that's been working before (although I haven't tried it for a number of weeks). I have VFP9 SP1 installed. Am I missing something here? Or am I indeed going crazy?
