Match Outlook Appointment Recurrence

I am looking for a set of routines to match the Outlook Appointment Recurrence settings.  Has anyone already codes this somewhere.  What I want the progarm to do is if I setup up an calendar ltem (which I also save to Outlook,which takes my data entry and sets it up) so my Foxpro program will give the same date results when executed against the currently stored date.

And a excellent answer to the newer question it is.  No, I was wondering if someone has done any Foxpro coding to minic the Outlook Calendar results WITHIN Foxpro.

Now I understand... It would be nice task to do it but OLE automation is against us.

Some ideas to program data recurrences like 'weekly', 'monthly':

date()+7 gives the data after a week
gomonth(date(),1) gives the data after a month

To find something like 'the first monday of a month' make use of DOW() function. Foxpro has all the stuff you need to compute the dates of these kind of recurrences.

Olaf, you got me on the right path.  I am writing a prg FUNCTION now that I pass a date to it, and depending on the Outlook-like setup, it returns the correct next date.
