Programmatically select value in a list box

I populate a listbox control with a SELECT statement, i.e.

thisform.list2.recordsource = "SELECT order from orders into cursor _orders"

Now I need to select the listbox item based upon external factors so that the currently displayed order will have its order # highlighted in the list box.

select orders
locate for order = 122

How do I get list2 to show order 122 selected?
